Bynd LLC ("BYND") is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect when you buy on buybynd.com and how we use it.
What we collect
Order data: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), shipping address and the products you buy. Setup data: the Google review link and menu link you give us to program your tiles. WiFi tile: the network name, password and PIN you set, stored so we can show the network and password to your guests when they touch the tile. BYND Tips: the profile you set up when you claim a card (name, photo or initials, and your payment handles), shown to people who tap it. Order and setup pages are opened with private links sent to your email. Payment data is collected and processed by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
Your cart and language preference are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To process and ship your order, program your tiles, take payment, send order emails, give support, and meet legal and tax obligations.
Who processes it for us
Stripe (payments), Supabase (order database), Resend (order emails) and Vercel (website hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not currently use advertising pixels; if we add them, we will update this policy first.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. Setup links are kept while needed to program, replace or support your tiles.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to receive a copy of it. US residents (including California residents under the CCPA) and residents of Ecuador (under the Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales) have these rights. Email hello@buybynd.com; we respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Where data is stored
Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries, with safeguards required by applicable law.
Children
buybynd.com is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
